Prior 9:30



My friend/boss Ali Daher (owner of site hollywoodtreatment.net) was able to get Media passes to the Twilight Convention, so out of all the staff at Hollywood Treatment, I had the most knowledge of Twilight thus I was chosen to accompany Ali to help with photos and media coverage of the convention. We went to the venue to be welcomed with a long line of eager Twilight fans. So we then went into the venue and got given our Media clearance and headed into the auditorium.

Trailers and behind the scenes clips were playing in the Auditorium and fans screamed at whoever appeared on screen, I chuckled at them as I thought they were so cute :) The annoucement was then made that all Platnium and VIP were to head over to the Photo Area for Photos with the cast in 10 minutes. So Ali and I headed to the photo area to talk to the cast prior the Photo Session.

Nikki and Taylor were talking to the co-ordinators and the co-ordrinators then left them to prep the cameras and Taylor went to the back room as I made my way to Nikki. Nikki is seriously so beautiful in real life and skinny too! Very skinny~ but healthy hehe [Images of this time period can be found at hollwoodtreatment.net]

We greeted her and she cheerfully greeted us back :D we shook hands and she then made a comment on my blue contacts I was wearing asking "Are those your real eyes?" and I replied "No, there not :)" and she said "Well, if they were then they would be such awesome eyes! ;)" I then commented her on Twilight and Thirteen saying that she was a brilliant actress of this generation and she thanked me and hugged me. We then took some quick photos with her and wished her luck with the photosession.




9:30-10:45 Photosession



As the Photosession went underway Ali and I took photos of the session, many fans were so happy to meet the cast :)
These fans had "Team Edward" on their shirts and went to Taylor to take photos and Taylor saw their shirts saying "Oh no!"

Edi then came out to do some photos and as they were prepping Edi, Taylor and Nikki went to the barracade to talk to fans, they did a video commentary for some fans and chatted with fans and then turned to Ali and me.



Nikki took another photo with me and talked with me again (Ali told me the fans behind the barracade were giving me "not-so-happy" looks at this point) she then left to go to Edi and we greeted and talked to Taylor, he shook our hands and we then gave him a stuffed toy (kangaroo and koala plush toy). He thanked us saying 'Thank you so much! I have always wanted one of these!~" and hugged us then taking a quick photo with us, he then had to go back to the photo shoot with Edi and Nikki.



I then think I almost jumped when the Twilightmoms came to get their group photo with the cast and made a mental note to meet them during the lunch session. I only got to meet one Twilightmom who was outside, I must say she seemed super cool and probably thought I was crazy running up to her the way I did asking for a photo and saying the reason why I wanted a photo with her was because she was part of the infamous Twilightmom group. Hehe (If anyone is reading this from Twilightmoms, I have a photo of you with the cast and the Twilightmom I met, I have photos of us LOL comment with the subject "TWILIGHTMOM" and i'll send you the images)




11-12 Edi Gathegi Talk

This was a really funny talk, Edi told us stories from the set, including the pranks he pulled on Taylor when they came to Australia - He told Taylor to eat Vegemite and that it tasted delicious (I personally don't understand how people even eat Vegemite) and the one with Jackson on set. A fan asked Edi what his favorite song was from the soundtrack and he commented on Rob's song and mimicked it which caused that whole audience to burst out in laughter.



12:30-1:30 Nikki Reed Talk

Before Nikki walked into the Auditorium they showed images from various films and shows Nikki was in. Basically every single image of Nikki that showed up, fans roared with cheers and a smattering applause. Nikki was surprised and started laughing at the response.



She then went on stage and answered many questions. Most notably the question about vegemite (again!), she had no idea what Vegemite was and everyone was laughing as she tried to guess what it was. Another question(s) that was notable was the questions about her appearance and the pressure to play Rosalie. She answered them politely and many of the audience were sadden and many let out a "awwww", some girls screamed at the front "YOUR SO PRETTYYY!". My heart really went out to Nikki at this stage.

There was also questions about Kellan and Robert.
1. Why did Kellan have eggs in the cafeteria - Inside joke, whenever the cast ordered breakfast Nikki ordered fruits and other foods then Kellan ordered 6 eggs (for the protein) all the time LOL
2. How was filming the baseball scene? - Kellan being the most athletic person thought he would ace the filming on this part but to his surprise he didn't. Rob is the most unathletic person on the set, he didn't know how to play baseball and did bad in terms of the "athletics" filming area in this scene. LOL (L)



1:45-2:45 Taylor Lautner and Group Talk



Taylor is a bundle of cuteness :D :D, his dad watched him from the back where at the same time I got a photo with Edi who was also watch Taylor's talk at the back. There was a few questions on the Team Jacob and Team Edward area and a fan asked what team he was, I can't remember what his answer was however I remember this (so will any Twilight fan that was there) "Watch out Edward!"



Nikki and Edi also went on stage and there were many LOL moments my favorite moments were:

1. Edi and Taylor tricking Nikki into eating Vegemite and Nikki going after the boys after tasting the Vegemite
2. The cast singing Miley Cyrus's song 'See You Again' with all the fans



3-6 Autograph Session

Before the Autographs began we hung around the area as the tables were set up and photos laid. Ali then went to talk to some of the fans from the convention. I went to the back room and in the Back room, Edi was talking to Nikki's friend and Nikki was standing. I started talking to Nikki again and we talked about what she was doing after the convention, she told me, how she was flying out that very evening for the Melbourne Convention and how she wished to have Christmas with her family or in London. Nikki then signed my book again and hugged me as Taylor came. Taylor said hi to me again and then signed my book and was hurried off by the co-ordinator to do a quick interview before autograph session.

The autograph sessions started soon after and Ali and I took pictures and video footage. We then had to leave and Edi and Nikki were really busy with fans as we packed up to leave we stopped by Taylor's autograph table and I told him we were leaving and to have a safe flight tonight. He thanked me for the well wishes and for coming to the convention and then thanked me and Ali for the toy, we then shook hands with him and his father and left.



So that was my day at the convention.
I wish I could have met the lion and lambers but I saw no-one with the tag :(

About the London thing, she told me that she wanted to spend time with her family or in london, if she had something going on with rob then obviously she wouldn't given an allusion so obvious.
